Super Punch Tarot Card

Some time ago I was asked by John Struan of Super Punch if I wanted to participate in a Tarot Project. Of course I did, but it took me a bit longer to finish my card due to personal struggles.

Anyway, here it is.

I used Manga Studio for the lineart and I can only recommend it to

all artists out there who do a lot of linebased works and/or comics.

drawr.net is a Japanese doodle community site.
Because of that there is a lot of bad anime,
but there is also a lot of cool stuff on there.

The best thing about it is the built in drawing applet,
which is so minimal it rocks,
because it encourages you to stay loose.

I do not intend to post all my drawr scribbles on here,

Experiment where I overlayed several layers of scanned abstract ink doodles and then played around with layermodes in PSCS2 and then looked for nice bits in the big picture which I saw stuff in. Kinda like Rorschach blots. Got the idea for this from some conceptartist but I can't remember his name :/

Mixed media experiment with coloured pencils, liquid watercolour, gouache and india ink on watercolour paper.
Also was a scannertest pretty much and I have to say I am happy with the result. The scanner I use is a Canon Canoscan 8800F.
